Toyoko Inn Osaka Semba Higashi

The room was relatively small, but personally it's size was perfect to a solo traveler. It's possible to leave your luggage with the staff at the lobby, and even though I ended up not doing it, I can see how it can be a very useful function to other travelers. Staff are very nice, helpful, some of them spoke English and even those who didn't had no problem communicating through google translate. I liked the location, it wasn't too far from the subway stations nor more active districts. Breakfast was also very tasty, also if you're coming early before check-in, the waiting/breakfast zone in the lobby is quite comfortable.

The location was very close to the metro station which was nice. They also offered a waiting area with a microwave and soda machines for those arriving too early, which came in handy since it was hot and i arrived early as well.

Staff was incredibly polite. Language barrier was easy to solve with a translator app. Food was nice and worth the price, and everything was clean. This hotel is great if you are a more independent traveler, as staff respects your privacy while remaining available at the front desk for any requests or accommodations.

It’s quite close to a lot of convenience stores, to the train station, and even to Osaka Castle. The staff are also friendly and helpful.
